The late Dr. Harold E. Robles was well known for his international humanitarian work, including the creation of Health Promotion South Africa Trust, which was honored by U.S. President Barack Obama in 2016. Harold worked with world leaders and human-rights activists from around the globe, including Desmond Tutu, U.S. Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton and the former leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev. He was Goodwill Ambassador of the Ethnic Business Women Society of the Netherlands and Goodwill Representative of the Southern Africa/Netherlands Chamber of Commerce.
